The Lean E & A is designed for those who have heard about Lean but need to know more in order to make informed decisions. The Lean E & A is also suited to those who have been unable to successfully implement Lean. OTI’s Lean Education & Awareness exercises taught us how to see waste and eliminate it. Within weeks we were “doing” real change; dramatically reducing set up times, redesigning our paint line, moving heavy equipment and machinery closer together, setting up cellular manufacturing, and anchoring it all with Standard & Reliable methods. This was remarkable because Bourgault had tried Lean previously with limited success. |
