Christopher Dawson
strategist, team builder, methodical planner, detailist, IT systems whiz, master of office processes
Chris says...
For me, it's planning the work strategically and then working the plan methodically to exceed customer expectations. The implementation of Lean Thoughtware in traditional hierarchical organizations requires perception and sensitivity. Listening for understanding with personal follow up, is central to the Lean implementation within an organization. Lean Thoughtware as the strategy changes the rules in a true Lean organization.
As an accomplished consultant and coach, Chris is fluent in both private service/manufacturing businesses and public non-profit institutions. Undergraduate and post graduate degrees in Business, combined with corporate experience, from both the supply and customer perspective, give Chris a solid foundation to analyze and understand the key drivers of any Lean opportunity.

Chris' focus is Strategic Navigational Scorecards, role clarity and Lean concepts in both office and manufacturing environments. His work as a facilitator and coach has taken him from the boardrooms of Washington to the manufacturing floors of Wisconsin to the front and back-end offices of service and manufacturing organizations across North America.

His engaging and personal approach has helped clients articulate their strategic needs, while keeping the process front and center to achieve results that all parties can buy into and ultimately execute.

Chris is a motivator with strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills. Clients view him as strategic in focus while being practical and insightful to the human elements of individual and organizational change.

"Chris has worked with our team on two key strategic initiatives; our Balanced Scorecard and our LEAN process initiatives following our recent merger. Chris' experience and practical approach have been very beneficial to our progress on these initiatives. We continue to view Chris and OTI as key resources for our organization."
